I've had nothing but good experiences here. The staff is friendly and wait times are generally low. Dr. Timberlake is always legitimately interested in your well-being.

Literally IMPOSSIBLE to schedule an appointment. The following is not an exaggeration: 68, 63, 57, 64, 49. These were the amount of callers in front of me every time I’ve attempted to schedule an appointment. Hours of waiting, thinking the time would possibly go by fast… nope. And I have been calling on different days, and different times to get through. Unbelievable. I’ve been attempting to get an appointment for the last month. I’m glad I’m a younger guy that can wait, couldn’t imagine if I was really in need. Someone needs to do something about this.

After a night at the ER for major knee issues (service connected.) Scheduled an emergency appt with my primary care because of excruciating pain. I was treated like a criminal immediately assuming I was looking for pain pills. Zero mention of pain pills other than showing the temp script of low MG vicodin provided by ER because of pain to her VIA video chat which she had asked for. The whole interaction was odd because I had viewed this PCP as one of the favorites I've had. She was rude and scheduled an MRI for a week out. Then lectured me about how I need to call physical therapy because she can't do it for me as if I'm 10 years old. Also literally laughed when I told her that I'd like her to retrieve the blood work I had recently in the past two weeks done because of a weird reaction I had to the blood draw her response was "that'll take to long we'll just have you do it again." So here I am worst pain of my life waiting a week to try and shift my knee back into place feels like it's going to snap when I put any weight on it. I can't sleep because it's so painful. Not the first time the VA has told me to kick rocks about my knees. Twice I've been asked if I can pop my knee out of place from the VA doctors to basically prove somethings wrong. Which I thought was insane and told them I'm not going to on purpose. Well now it's popped out and won't go back in so they've got there wish and now im getting the cold shoulder when it can't be avoided. Trying to get an MRI was like pulling teeth they'll treat ya like a criminal until your bone or ligament is snapped to where they can finally get a good reading on imagery.

I’ve finally been able to get my VA benefits and have made the Initial contact with the care staff to cover urgent health challenges. I am very impressed with quality of care given and the staff. I’m sensing a comradeship developing with my fellow vets that says I am no longer alone.
