They were super friendly and extremely helpful! I bought some locking guitar straps and they installed them for me in store while I waited. I play left-handed and they have several options for left-handed guitars both electric and acoustic, whereas almost all the other guitar shops I looked at in the greater Portland area had none. They definitely have a return customer in me!

Laura and the crew from the Broadway location could not have been more helpful. They went completely above and beyond as far as service and product knowledge is concerned. I've wanted a Martin guitar my whole adult life and recently re-enlisted in the Army, I decided to treat myself to this once in a lifetime dream come true. Laura could not have done any better to help my dream come a reality. I can honestly say that Portland music Company is easily the finest music store in the Pacific NW if not west of the Mississippi because of selection but most importantly, the fine staff headed by Laura.

Very limited selection. I'm no Guitar Center fan, but GC and the www do work to spoil us with options, don't they? Having said that, THIS place is very small and extremely little selection of items. I wanted a guitar pedal tuner. They didn't have the brand I wanted - nor did they have any other brand period. Nada in the guitar pedals category at all. Oh well.
