The owner was just fabulous!!! My son is new to the violin and he took his time to find what we were looking for and to make him comfortable. They have a rent to own option which is awesome!!! I would definitely recommend him!!!

Allego Violin may seem odd at first being located at the owner's house, but then I remembered that Manselle's back in Clackamas was very similar. So I emailed Craig and he helped me pick out a great violin for my wife's birthday present. I even provided a picture of a random case I liked and he provided me a matching case within our budget! The store is located in his house. It's a very sweet home filled to the brim with violins and cellos, it was very cool. He gave me assurance that I could bring back the violin and upgrade free of charge if my wife wanted the more expensive one. Turns out she loves her new violin and we haven't had a need to return. I did accidently leave my receipt at the store, Craig was kind enough to snail mail it back to my house without any issues.

Amazing! Craig has a wonderful sense of humor & made me leave with a smile knowing I could switch up to any other violin in the first 30 days with 100% purchase payment. Very accommodating with quality well priced instruments. Highly recommend.

I came in to get a part to fix my cello bow, and Craig was very helpful and kind, and did it for me. I really enjoyed seeing the range of instrument sizes he has in his home shop, and talking with him. I didn’t purchase an instrument, but it seems like his prices are pretty accessible. I’m glad I found this shop!
