While renting an instrument, I had no idea what I was doing. Preparing for my son's first year of band. I had help the entire way and the staff was extremely helpful. They made sure we had everything we needed. Thank you for making it so easy on this stressed mama!

Very Poor costumer services and overly priced for low grade items. Last encounter they couldn’t rehair my violin bow and the location that theyre partners(that they recommended me to go to) with were rude as well

Very informational on instruments, classes great quality instruments, very fair on buying instrument(s) programs. I genuinely love there customer service soon as you walk in you will be greeted on your visit. There personnel are knowledgeable on every level so don't feel shy on asking questions if you don't ask they surely will just to make your visit educational. Now if tou have any problems with an instrument don't hesitate to stop by they're more than willing to help an anyway possible.

Estimates are free when the instrument is brought into the store. Unfortunately no estimate can be given if the instrument is not physically present for evaluation.

I have rent an instrument here monthly. How can I cancel the agreement?

Nancy He | Aug 18, 2018
Eastside Music | Aug 18, 2018

Cancelling the agreement is as simple as bringing back the rental instrument to our store during our open hours! We will issue you a receipt for your return at that time. If you purchased any items in addition to your rental, remember you do not need to bring these back to the store!

Eastside Music's hours are posted as Tuesday through Friday 9:30am to 6:00pm and Saturday 10:00am to 5:00pm. Closed Sunday and Monday. Eastside generally closes for retail business 2 to 3 weeks in the month of July in effort to deal with a very large volume of band instrument repairs from local schools. During this time they still service their rental customers instruments as well.

Hey guys! Stopping in the area until Monday. Do you all sell the short scale bass guitars? My buddy ran over mine so im in the market for a replacement. (Long story) acoustic/electric either would be fine! Thanks so much

Hello my friend your here until Monday, online the store hours for Eastside music store says it's closed until Tuesday morning but you can always check out another local music store too if they have the short scale bass guitar strings plus the electric guitar strings. You may want to try a store in Portland Oregon if you can make the drive, it appears Old Town Music ll is opening up at 11am today, then Guitar Center has several stores around town too if you'd like I know they have bass and electric guitar strings. Hope this helps you out.

Do you buy drumsets?

James Hoit | Aug 18, 2018
Eastside Music | Aug 18, 2018

Unfortunately, we do not purchase drum sets from the public. There are places in the Portland area that are reputed as buyers of used equipment. We wish you luck!

juan Lemus | Aug 18, 2019
Eastside Music | Aug 18, 2019

I'm afraid this is outside of the scope of work that we do. Fortunately, there are several shops with the skills, tools (and access to the products) to make this happen. Give us a call and we can make some recommendations.

Can you take out an trumpet mouthpiece for free

alina miller | Aug 18, 2018
Nate Wallace | Aug 18, 2018

Yes! Trumpet mouthpiece removal is free! We always encourage you to take advantage of this service. Attempting to remove the mouthpiece on your own can cause significant (and expensive!) damage to your instrument.
