Beautiful outer architecture! Fun to learn about the town!

This is the crown jewel of Main Street, if not Downtown Gresham. The building alone, The Gresham Carnegie Library, is now on the National Register of Historic Places and will be protected for generations to come. A great place to visit snapshots Gresham's History, but also American pioneer history. It is the closest thing we have to time travel.

After watching one of your employees harass a handicapped person parked in the handicapped parking spot with the placard correctly displayed on the rear view mirror I'm no longer entrusted in call and considering this location to rent for an event. Your employee, was parked partially blocking The handicap spot. The employee then rudely demanded that the handicapped person move their car so that she could get into hers. The handicapped person responded that had she parked her car properly not on the blue line, she would have been able to get into her car. The employee got even ruder. The handicapped person moved her car over so the entitled employee who thinks she's a VIP could get into her car. Instead of thanking the handicapped person for being inconvenienced and having to move their car so she could get into her poorly parked vehicle, she then began to scream at the disabled person that they weren't allowed to park in the handicapped parking. The handicapped person had the placard properly displayed and is legally allowed to park in the handicapped parking spot. The only person who's not allowed to park in the handicap spot or block the handicap spot was your employee. Based on this display of entitlement by your employee I will not be considering this location or any location that is controlled by the Gresham historical society for a venue I was looking for for an event. The employee's behavior was shameful & very narcissistic! The poor disabled person was crying in the car after the rude employee drove away still shouting at her. I tried calling to speak to a supervisor but no one answered the phone & there's no voicemail so you get a terrible review instead.

Cool old building with a neat local museum inside. Volunteers are very knowledgeable. On street parking. Streets are narrow for RVs. A few public parking areas in walking distance. Good poke spawns, lots of stops in the area.

Yes, we have wheelchair access, but we had an arson fire on July 2 and the Museum is closed indefinitely for repairs. We hope to open in a few months. Admission is free.
Yup. Saturday from 10-4.
