Very peaceful and beautiful even though it rained. Make sure you lock up your food and dispose of your trash there are raccoons and skunks.

Really nice campground. We had a camper van and we’re able to pull right in. The restrooms were clean. The showers were very nice - individual stalls with locking doors. Also there was great water pressure and the water was nice and toasty!

Silver Falls State Park is beautiful! Lots of trails and also bike trails. The campground is top notch. Nice clean bathroom and even nice showers. The camp spaces are level for most part, long and many are private. Strong recommendation!

Yes, we're here now and campfires are allowed!

You are able to fly fish at the campground. There are a few spots right on the river that you can walk to from your camp site. There are other locations all up and down the Umpqua river that you can also fly fish, but need to drive to.

Are there free dispersed sites ?

We stayed at the campground because we were not aware of any free camping. If a person has the time to drive around looking for dispersed camping you might find something but the area is pretty "civilized" as my husband and I call popular state parks. Good luck.

Trying to find a place that is free for me and my family to park for a few nights. Can we do that here or is there some price that I need to pay?

We were just there in our camper, and didn't see any dispersed camping. Paid only, but great showers/facilities, hiking and waterfalls.

Is this dispersed camping?

No this is not dispersed camping. It's a well-maintained state park.
