Bus drivers on the town loop are notorious for skipping bus stops with people at them. They claim they cant see the people standing there but those same drivers also look at the people and shake their heads.

In May of 2013 I happily found out about the Wave bus, which I took from Portland to Manzanita. For $20 I went round-trip from the city to the coast and back the next day. It was a beautiful ride on a friendly small bus with cautious, considerate and friendly drivers. The Wave service provided one of my best memories of Oregon. I am truly grateful to all who make this transportation possible, especially since I don't enjoy driving.
