If you are into making Landscape Quilts this is a great shop to visit. The owner who designs and sells a huge range of delightful little landscape patterns, has an excellent eye for the fabrics that work well for landscape and pictorial quilts - a particular focus of my own work. Her prices are good on the fabrics and the selection and range of them is wonderful. She does have a few other types of quilting fabrics but the emphasis is on these landscape prints. I often have told students that they probably will not find all the fabrics they need for a perfect landscape quilt in just one shop but Kim's shop defies that rule, you could easily find everything you need for a pictorial quilt in her shop. Looking at her lovely simple patterns also shows how skillful application of the 'right' print can yield stunning results on even simple compositions. The only 'problem' with her shop is the low profile from the road. The tiny shop is located right on the inland side of Hwy 101 in the north end of Garibaldi but it sort of blends into the other nearby structures - blink and you will miss it.

AWESOME shop. Kym is very knowledgeable and helpful she carries lots of fabrics and some really nice kits. And the store mascot Gypsy Rose is the sweetest dog ever. Great shop

I LOVE THIS SHOP! She has the most amazing designs and color palates. Simple and detailed large designs make her Kit buddies and patterns very satisfying to sew. Lovely owner as well.
