I bought my wedding dress in California and needed someone to alter it here in Portland. It's a very complicated wedding dress with a lot of beading and lace applique and I had to make sure to find someone who does hand beading. My dress was hemmed beautifully with a very delicate bustle. The pricing is extremely fair and I was quoted less than other places and the owner is very kind and easy to work with, as well as super flexible and accommodating. I had a really great experience and I would come back.

They did an absolutely fantastic job. I bought a last minute dress off the rack and needed it altered within a month. She was able to work it into a totally different dress that I imagined from how it started. She did very difficult work and was extremely fast. It included multiple layers being hemmed, replacement fabric, bodice fitting, removable of appliqués, and creating sleeves out of additional fabric. I also trusted her with my husbands suit and she was very knowledgeable, instead of “making more work” for herself she explained why parts didn’t need to be altered, and altered the parts that did. A very warm and friendly shop, and I’ll definitely go back for other work.

I had seen Nadias work previously and knew she was good, but once I stepped into my dress she did all I could say was " You're Daaaaa*n Good" The simplest alterations she did, made my wedding dress beyond what I could ever imagine! I had her add a bustle, since my dress has an extremely long train.. I'm still in utter shock of the way she made all the material just *disappear* and it flows so smoothly now!! I cannot recommend her enough, you will be in love!

Alteration boutique does a fantastic job with alterations! I was able to bring my wedding dress in a week and a half before my wedding day and they got it altered in time. Everyone here is super friendly and they make great recommendations for ways to make your dress better than you could have imagined. It takes incredible skill to take a beautiful dress and make it even more perfect for the bride wearing it. I will definitely be coming back here for any alteration needs in the future.
