one of the more beautiful lake parks around denver, with wide paved or dirt trails to choose from, a small wildlife sanctuary, clean restroom facility (in the main parking lot), and loads of space. It feels quiet even when it's fairly busy, and it's beautiful no matter the weather.

Nice place to walk around a lake and take in scenic views. Has an inner and outer path to suit your distance preferences. Check the winds before you go. They come screaming across the lake on bad days. Otherwise it's quite pleasant. Great for dog walking, unless your dog is antisocial.

I love to walk around the lake. This is a small walk it takes around 30 minutes, it is flat and commented. Usually here is windy Every season. Great view towards the mountains. Winter is frozen. It's a busy park. Comfortable parking lot. In the summer period I advise to walk inside the bird sanctuary (no dogs or bike are allowed). It's magical small 15 walk around the pouwn inside of the reservoir, and it's free preserved area!!!! A lot of mosquitoes during spring. Lovely Aspen 🌴 during fall time. You can listen and observe different 🕊️ flying and fighting and playing during the summer and fall period. There is something very beautiful and mesmerizing about this park. Just lovely 🌹

Stunning view. Lovely sidewalk and trail paths. Perfect for all adventurers. Just short of 1.5 miles one time around the water on the sidewalk path.
