This store had everything precious!! Mid century modern is my whole design style for our future home so we had to check this place out. I will say if you are in your 20s, it’s a bit pricey. But, all the products are wonderful!

I love love love this store! The cutest family-run local shop with so many incredible designer showstoppers from the 50's and 60's. I really appreciate the little infographics throughout the store that describe the history behind certain high-end or rare furniture pieces as well. I feel like someone who doesn't understand mid-century modern design or normally shops at mass-produced chain furniture stores might have sticker stock but in reality the well-known designer pieces I've purchased here have been significantly less expensive than if I bought them online plus they were built to last for generations. A definite favorite of mine!

This place is filled with scratched, out-dated and irrelevant junk. I can literally go to any brand name furniture retailer and buy higher quality furniture BRAND NEW. This place wants $100+ for a plastic planter and stand and when I found it online for less than $40. Same for the shelving, they claim they have multiples of (one display and several in stock) and charge hundred of dollars for outdated and worn wood, there’s a carpenter right down the road who does custom pieces, significantly higher quality and much more satisfying work, I’d drop $2,000 for quality work, shelving, this place just smacks you in the mouth and expects you to accept their trash. For whatever is “vintage”. It’s….alright? They maybe have 2 or 3 pieces that are actually reasonably priced but they are not vintage, but definitely play the part it doesn’t really make me feel really well when I walk in and am told everyone is 20% off, owner must be losing money on a lot of product. Seems they upgraded stores and are trying to make up for it and as well as the price of stock, it’s clearly a failing business and I’m a little embarrassed to have payed attention to it. You can’t really expect much from this store, it isn’t impressive except for the onslaught of disappointment. The manager I assume or unfortunately for her, the owner, tried to tell me a portrait was silk when it was obviously polyester print, who are you kidding? I have wealth, this isn’t where I spend mine, nor do I know anyone who does. Be warned.

My wife and I have been shopping at Modmood for a few years now. They have a beautiful, always changing selection. The staff are very friendly. Even if I go an extended time between visits, when I go in they always remember us, they remember the pieces we have purchased in the past, and will even direct us towards specific items they think we will be interested in based on our taste! On my most recent vist, a staff member that I hadn't seen in over a year even remembered what my wife does for a living! It's touches like that combined with the beautiful selection that cause us to keep returning to Modmood.

Hey there! We have a separate entrance and exit, hand sanitizer for our staff and guests, use electronic cleaner for our point of sale system in between purchases, extra cleaning of all surfaces, special disinfectant cleaning spray for our upholstered furniture, arrows on the floor to help the flow of traffic, extra masks and gloves if needed, and extra care taken when doing deliveries/pick ups. We are happy to answer any questions that you have about practices or to schedule an appointment outside of business hours if you’re more comfortable coming in individually.
