Goodwill shamelessly hyper-culls their donations. They pick everything of value to put on eBay where your donation contributes to global warming as it is flown and driven to its far flung destination. What’s left in their “thrift” stores? Broken items, moldy scratched records, highlighted over priced books and electronics that always have issues. They try to deflect from this bad business model by creating their “hand picked” section, or by running their “little black dress” ad campaign which confirms that once in awhile they purposely let something of value slip through the hyper-culling to bless some lucky shopper with an actual find. The “hand picked” is usually about 10 feet of utterly overpriced middling items, and the little black dress is a condescending myth. Goodwill used to be a fun thrifting experience where you could actually find quality items on a daily basis. Today it is nothing but a disappointment especially when you get home and realize that Goodwill did it again, sold you another damaged item. Please consider donating to an organization that actually gets your item to a local person. Goodwill is trapped with huge overhead in rent and upper management salaries, (no where below management is anyone earning a living wage), so they are forced to starve their local stores in order to maximize profits by shipping anything of value to the highest bidder wherever that person may be. Fire up the jet fuel and get the trucks gassed up the donation you expected to help out locally is long gone!

Great staff and good selection of women's stuff but sadly very limited selection of men's clothing.

It's hard finding a good barber in a small town, however these guys were great felt very authentic. The barber's were all in good spirit , a great first experience. I'll defiantly be back for a haircut.

The store is neat. Staff are okay. But tge plus size clothes are crammed in one rack at the back of the store, sizes mixed up, and too much of it was stained or torn. Big people like nice things, too, and the way this section was arranged showed no concern for our shopping experience compared to the arrangement of the regular sized section. The kids' section was also difficult to shop, with sizes and genders all mixed up.

Not that I have seen. They have Fill a bag days, and button jars but I think most jewelry is in the case and better quality.
Goodwill Northern New England is committed to the health and safety of our donors, shoppers, employees and program participants during the COVID-19 pandemic. We have implemented CDC and State recommended protocols, including but not limited to safe social distancing, the use of PPE, frequent sanitizing and pre-work employee screenings. This has been our policy from the outset of the COVID-19 pandemic and we continue to follow the guidelines set by the states where we operate.
I have a question not an answer. Why am I entered under "local guide?"
