I've been on vacation in this cabin 1 hour and am already regretting it. Our family which includes 2 grandparents, 2 kids with spouses and all the grandkids ages 6 months to 8 years old arrived and were instantly getting yelled at and completely disrespected by the neighbor. We hadn't even finished unloading our vehicles. Then about 45 minutes into our stay we had a Vacasa employee at the door giving us notice of a noise complaint. The noise complaint was for the kids/babies at 5 p.m.! It was explained to us that previous vacation tenants at this cabin were loud and disrespectful. If Vacasa staff was on their 'A' game with those individuals AKA doing their job then we wouldn't be stuck next to some old crotchity you know what who is "traumatized" making this weekend completely miserable. And the one activity to get us out and about which is also why we rented this cabin which is the pool is closed. Which was not disclosed to us in any way. You would think a discount or an explanation for them conviently forgetting to mention the closure of the main attraction would be in place. But no. Just a noise violation for the kids at 5 p.m. If there is by some chance a miracle and we end up satisfied with this company and the experience they provide I will gladly update this post. Thanks.

This home has all the necessary comforts in a quiet secluded location. There was plenty of space, lots of family activities at the site, close proximity to outdoor activities near Mt. Hood. All the appliances worked fine. In short, everything was set up just the way you hope it would be when you select a rental. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

I loved the ambience, the beautiful furnishings and gorgeous quiet forest surrounding the cabin. The rushing river you could listen to while sleeping and perfect deck and hot tub made the experience over the top. Some people will be put off by the taxidermy animal heads and bearskin but for me it really made it feel like a cabin in the wild. Also there were shops grocery store as well as restaurants conveniently close by. My only complaint was that the double bed should have been a king and there is a small hole in the deck that was a bit dangerous where the wood is starting to rot. Overall though, just wonderful. We hope to return next year.

The Vacasa staff were incredible in their customer service - very quick in responses to questions, helpful, and accommodating. We used these two homes for a retreat for 25 people, and it was so great. People loved the lodge feel and beautiful surroundings. Plus, there are BBQs! Thank you for a great stay! Parking was the only real tricky part, but we were able to fit five cars in the driveway, and had no problem parking just down the street across the street from Huckleberry Inn (we didn't have to worry about paying for parking, and the cars were safe down there).

We offer complimentary early check-in whenever possible, depending on your Vacasa home’s housekeeping schedule. We’ll know if early check-in is available by 9 a.m. on the day of your arrival, and will notify you on your reservation here in the app.
We’ll stock every Vacasa home with linens (sheets and towels) and supply a starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, and laundry detergent. For more details about a home you’ve booked, go to the “In the Home” section on the Trips tab.
Trip Protection is an optional supplement to your reservation. When you opt in for Trip Protection, you’ll be eligible for a full refund for any nights canceled due to illness, death in the family, flight delays, flight cancellations, or road closures due to bad weather. You can purchase it up to 30 days before your reservation. (If you’re booking within 30 days of check-in, you can add Trip Protection up to 24 hours from the time of making the reservation.)
You can change or cancel your trip by giving us a call.
If you cancel: Within 24 hours of booking, you’ll receive a full refund. 30 days or more before your trip, you’ll receive a refund of any rental payments you’ve made, minus the booking fee. Within 30 days of your trip, refunds are only given if you’ve purchased Trip Protection and the reason for your cancellation falls within its guidelines
Nope! We don’t start counting kids towards the occupancy until they’re over the age of two. (There are exceptions in certain communities, but we’ll make it clear in the home’s description and agreement when that’s the case.)
We have lots of dog-friendly homes to choose from—just check the home’s listing, and make sure to add your dog to your reservation.
