We booked this cottage for a fourth of July getaway five months in advance, and Initially we loved it. One of the main reasons we booked this place was for the hottub, once we arrived we were told we weren't able to use it because it was broken. We contacted them about it and they told us they weren't able to fix it and only offered us a $50 refund for a three night stay! We looked online through their company website and saw that they had another cottage available with a working hottub and asked if they could book us there. They refused unless we booked it as a new booking and and refused to cover the difference, and they wouldn't budge on at least giving us a better refund. Then they tell us that the other cottage was booked 15 mins after telling us it was available. In general their customer service was really frustrating. They didn't seem concerned whatsoever. The place and location is great, but wouldn't say it's worth all this hassle.

Disappointed stay. We rented Heron Hill through Meredith Lodging. Dryer was broken and no Satellite/cable tv. Two burners on the stove were not functioning properly and the smoke detector went off every time when used. Those were the big issues that should’ve been no question provided for a beach vacation stay. It was terrible having nowhere to dry towels or wash at all! The customer service was very responsive and a maintenance person came the next day but it was clear these were not new issues. Nothing was fixed. Either the cable was turned off or a technician was needed. The dryer had not been working for some time as there was a note that it was broken. It needed a new heating element. Minor things became more irritating because of those big things. Stairs were a lot and don’t rely on the amenities list..it’s not accurate. I never leave reviews but I will this time to prevent others from having a similar experience. It’s too bad, we had friends who recommended this rental company.

We stayed at beachy keen in Olivia Beach, and it was just dreamy! What a gorgeous three story house and right across the street from the ocean! A perfect, tranquil getaway to get back to nature with all of the rocky beach and surrounding forest hikes. And what a joy to come home at night to such a sunny home--not to mention the hot tub!

Beautiful home, QUIET weekend retreat for our family. We stayed at the Parker house, and couldn't have asked for more. All amenities were provided, and the staff at the rental office was very friendly and accommodating. This is our second stay at Olivia Beach, and we will definitely be back!
