Wonderful place, great people, extremely nice glass. The patient explanation to kids of a process he has done for 40 years was appreciated. We got two customized paper weights and they are awesome.

Our family were so charmed by this little studio just outside of Lincoln City. The man blowing the glass was so friendly and explained each step he took to make a gorgeous glass vase. My 10 year old son was hypnotized. Beautiful works of art around the studio for sale and I loved that there were signs that said “please touch” around the glass. Not used to seeing that! We are so glad we stopped in. Very charming.

This is one of those rare situations where I would like to give them 10 starts instead of five because the entire experience was a once in a lifetime experience. The glass smith was very outgoing and friendly and provided a complete demonstration on how the craft works. They have a little shop of their wares (there are five craftspeople) that provides a good selection of what they can do. If your in the area stop in and I guarantee you won't regret it!

Open May through October (so it's open now! Don't believe Google)! I was so, so excited that Alder House has been able to weather the pandemic. Love watching them blow glass and talk us through the process of making different things. The setting is idealic. The dogs are all sweet. The people are fantastic. It's so fun to watch something being made, and then be able to say, "I love that. I'd like to buy it, please." Very unique experience. They also have a bunch of glass on display for sale, so there's lots to choose from.
