Very, very, very kind man working when I dropped by. He was super knowledgeable and clearly enjoyed his craft. They have a beautiful selection of tumbled and raw stones, and a wide selection of jewelry. This is an amazing place to bring your kids. Nothing is too breakable so long as they're careful, and staff is very patient with them. This is seriously the best rock shop I've ever been to. Prices aren't and at all either. Plenty of places to park out front, and it should be wheelchair accessible. (I could be wrong about that) I would absolutely recommend dropping by there if you ever get the chance :)

The knowledge this women posses is priceless! I can't thank her enough for helping me identify a rock that has mystified me for years. I contacted her needing help and she not only responded that day, solved the mystery, but did it all free of charge. So thank you Laura. You are greatly appreciated!

While staying in town on vacation, my wife and I have visited the gallery on several occasions over the years and we have become fascinated with the depth of their knowledge and the wide selection of beautiful jewelry and artifacts. Last year, we participated in one of their "Exploriance" beachcombing tours with a group of other people, and it was very informative and fun (even though it was pouring rain and essentially gale force winds). :) This year, the gallery modified their offerings due to Covid, and we decided to go on one of the Private Beachcombing Tours with Laura. These allow us to maintain appropriate distancing, although it was just my wife and I on the tour today. Once again, the weather did not disappoint (though not nearly as bad as last year). Laura is so passionate and knowledgeable about the local geology, it is difficult not to get swept up in her enthusiasm as she describes the local geology and the forces that created the Western coastline as we know it today. She takes the time to find different styles of rocks that anyone can find on the beach, and then goes into detail about how that rock came to be, and where it came from. She loves to share her passion for "rock literacy" and just wants people to be able to "read" basic types of rocks they may find on the local beaches. Anything of interest is ours to keep. The private tours are booked in advance based on the local tides, so if you decide to participate, pick one that works for you and hope the weather holds out! If you aren't in the mood for a beach tour, then for sure stop by the gallery when they are open to view all of the various types of rocks, gems, and jewelry. You can always ask questions and you will be sure to get friendly and super-informative answers. A must-see location when passing through or staying in Lincoln City!
