When it's good it's great. When not, utter failure. In my relocation from Portland to New York, my pick up experience is everything you could ask for. Got an ample amount of contact on steps, delivery times, and retrieval. Unfortunately that's the end of positive parts of the review. I originally had a quote for my container to be moved to New York, however when I arrive I come to find out there was no mention of transport in the quote. Now I had to pay additional fees in addition to waiting several more weeks for my container arrive. Next I had to schedule my time. Unbeknownst to the person giving the transport quote, they didn't realize it's a city transfer which adds another fee. Plus less than 12 hours before my arrival time, notified there's a forklift issue where there's no determinate time of when I would see my stuff. Yet charges still occurred. Finally was able to re-reschedule and dealt with a 4 hour delay, with half of that delay having no contact with anyone from PODS. Stuff arrived impeccable for the most part, but the amount of teeth pulling I had to do from a service that is throwing a fee almost every time I was on the phone with them leaves a bitter taste in my mouth when mentioning them. So essentially what they provided they did their job, as for providing value to justify the costs; determine how much time are you willing to take out of your day to ensure that the company is doing what they claim to be doing as a simple and easy process.

Forget you ever heard this company's name. Run away far and fast. Their salespeople will tell you that they can do things that end up to be untrue. If you need to change anything they will keep you on the phone for an hour, then mess it up. When you call back, they will charge you more to correct their mistake. When you try to resolve the situation reasonably they will transfer you to their supervisor and disconnect the call. Every. Single. Time. if you try chatting with them through the website, they will tell you all the reasons they can't help, then end the chat. Don't call them. It's a mistake.

Every Pod drop off and pickup was done on time. I packed my belongings myself and found very little had shifted during the cross country move. Would choose Pods again for moves in the future!

I had a great experience using PODS and I would definitely use them again. I would also recommend to anyone I know. My move was stressful and I ended up having to make several changes and had to store my PODS for a couple of months. It was very easy to reschedule and the representatives were compassionate and helpful and I really appreciated it. 5 stars 🌟

Similar to housing or airfares, rates are based on the current market. Also, using different dates or ZIP codes can affect pricing.
You'll have to call a PODS location because I'm just a truck driver that hauls from location to location
