Awful experience from start to finish! They gave us a car that didn’t have working headlights, all of the maintenance lights came on including the tire pressure. The car was filthy inside and they didn’t have any cars to exchange it with. They send their customers to Pep Boys to fix their cars for them if there is an issue. They lack customer service skills as well and don’t do much to help in anyway. Do yourself a favor and rent elsewhere. Worst car rental experience in all of my years of travel.

Terrible customer service. Reserved a car and when I went to pick it up it smelled like an ashtray. They were still trying to charge me $100 to cancel even after acknowledging how bad the car smelled. All my clothes smelled like smoke 😠. Very disappointed with the service at our local Hertz. Hope it gets better but I won't be going back, other cheaper better alternatives close by.

This is the first time I've ever used Hertz. I went for a vehicle replacement due to my son being in an auto accident. This particular rental site in Freeport was a breath of fresh air compared to their competitor. They were professional, efficient, courteous, friendly and accommodating. Incredible customer service. On top of it their rates were great. If I ever need to rent a car again this is where I'm going! A great experience!

Please beware with this company. They will scam you. We rented a car while mine was getting repaired my insurance company paid them in full. A day later we get charged hundred of dollars supposedly for extra charges,what extra charges if everything has been paid by my insurance. THIS COMPANY IS unprofessional they have a bunch of clowns working for this company I will report this as a fraud because they are not suppose to charge my card without my consent. The only reason we left the card was because they supposed to require in case of an accident or damage to the rental car not so they can steal from you.
