Me and all my friends from the 90's frequented Blanche's for a few decades.. such an awesome Bar. I visited Nu Bar this past weekend with a great friend. I've gotta say, it was 100% an outstanding atmosphere.. wonderful staff, music was awesome, the customers were so very nice. I'll definitely visit Nu Bar again when I travel to Long Island. Thank you for such a wonderful time.

Nubar is a great bar and welcome anyone in. Great people go here. Friendly bartenders. Always have events going on. Not expensive. It’s a very close bar to where I live. Makes great drinks and if you know a drink you want they’ll try to make it. Best friendly gay bar ever in Masspequa. Good and cheap food.

Great renovations!! I love the new bartender James! He's friendly, one of the best bartenders out there, and did I mention easy on the eye?! Yeah he's gorgeous.

I'm not sure exactly what it is that you are asking Robert. Are you asking to be our promotor? Maybe you have been to the bar on summer Saturdays when most of the LI LGBT community is over at Fire Island. We expect that. During the summer we halt most events that would normally take place on a Saturday during the fall, winter and early spring season. We hope that you try visiting us during one of those events.

How are Saturday nights

Sorry Robert that your experience was as such. But one Saturday visit with such an attendance as you suggested does not fairly answer the question presented. Saturdays during the summer tend to be much slower than those in the fall, winter and spring. Since Fire Island is in its prime season during the summer most of the Long Island LGBTQ community take advantage of the season and head over to Fire Island for their weekend festivities. Based on this fact, summer Saturdays at NuBar can be slower than those where we host events such as karaoke and or a DJ Dance night. Fall, winter and early spring are much better. We suggest you come in and find out for yourself. You can also follow our Facebook page to update yourself on our events. www.fabebook.com/@nubarlongisland
