They've always been extremely nice & very thoughtful towards me & my disability issues. I've been with them for about 5 years & I have no problem.

I work for this company and have for years. However as of recently they have nobody answering phones, you go straight to voicemail where they make no effort to call back and be helpful. I have gotten more help from the case manager (Kristi) then any receptionist. I have called over 15 times last week and this week to get a very simple question answered and nobody even gives the effort to call back or answer the phones! But the hours claim they are open, so I’m not sure what’s going on.

Talk about it with her Dr
They are a non-profit contracted with the state.
I am not 100% sure there are programs to assist with medications, there are programs that offer assistance such as paying for medical equipment such as walkers, canes, ramps, beds, etc. I would recommend calling the office to ask. But there are websites/apps that offer discounts on prescriptions, goodrx.com is one of them.
I know they used to have support groups for loved ones/caregivers of people suffering with Alzheimer's. You should call and ask about them. I'm sorry to hear about your spouse.
You can definitely apply for assists and receive the help you are in need of!
You'd have to check with the stores.
Lillian, you should go to or-hcc.org. from there, you can add yourself to the caregiver registry and peruse ads posted by those looking for caregivers.
Depends, there are lots of requirements, background checks, home visits, fingerprints. Best to call and get info.
Call 503.304.3400 they can give you the fax # that's the main line number... Best of Luck...
NWSDS has referral numbers for help with utilities, and so on at least in the main office i interned for, i updated the refferals for such places u can also find out thru the internet .
You can get your provider # before your class when your background and/or fingerprints come back and you are cleared for working as a caregiver. You can also have an employer that you'll be working for but they wont print vouchers (time sheet) until you have a provider # and certification certificate. You get at the end of class. Now when I started I had my provider # also an employer. I was working before my class. My provider # came a week before my class. My employer talked to their case manager and I was paid for working that week. So to some it up yes you can. Will they issue a voucher for payment. NO .. Not until both requirements are met. Will they give back pay or pay retroactive to a previous date is case by case basis. Hope that helps..
Need to call and set up an intake appointment. 503-304-3400
Okay Thank you. That's unfortunate. It would save a lot of grief.
