Staff and specialist are great! They explain everything very well and leave me feeling confident that my child is in good hands. Only negative is that they are very busy and booked rather far out.

I went here for a surgery when I was 12, they have a game room with an Xbox, if I hadn't gone there like 2 days sooner I would've had to have my leg removed. The food was good I think.

Just heard this hospital has some bizarre information for children on their website about transgenderism. Parents should be aware of this. Let the parents discuss these issues with their children.

As a CF patient, this hospital has been amazing my whole life. All the doctors and specialists are so good at their jobs and so nice. I want to go here for as long as I can. (I am 15 btw)

My mom had a brain surgery about two years ago, the whole surgery went excellent, doctors are excellent and professional, all of the RNs are so dedicated to their job and super respectful, I wanna say is one of the best hospitals in the states.
Several hundred. I am sure any she brings would be appreciated. I would call ahead. They probably have a process for that sort of thing.
Go into the main building and let them know you are donating toys for Christmas.
Yes
ICU 2 people at a time. NICU they let my daughter son in law and I stayed in the room.
Call the front desk and they will transfer you to the correct person
Shriner's is independent of Doernbecher, but they often admit patients who are Shriner's patients to Doernbecher for more specialized care following complex procedures, especially if patient has many comorbidities such as being trached and vented and/or has neurological or seizure disorders. I hope that helps. Geographically, the two hospitals are both up on Pill Hill.
They are a ambulance crew that has two nurses and a respiratory therapist that transport only the sickest children from airports to the hospital or for other hospitals to ours. They can handle babies to teens.
Yup there is only one person
First, I doubt they have that information still. But, you can try sending a letter to HR, describing who you are looking for and why. Include the correspondence you wish to send to the individuals, and ask if they can help you get it to them.
I know they have a play area for kids (with an xbox even). They serve food to patients and also have snacks. There might be a coffee station but i can't remember. Hope this helps!
Ask about Ronald McDonald house. There are few options otherwise, but ask wherever you check in.
And, What do you want to know?
You can call the main hospital and ask for volunteer services they can assist and answer your questions
That I'm not sure of I'm sorry I can't help
You would have to call them or shriners there side by side. They have a information desk.
Those things are wonderful for the children and the family's very special. I know we sure cherish them! I would suggest all sizes there are a range of kids. That's what I suggest anyways. Thank you for your kind thoughts of the children and the giving heart you have. Thank you!
Go to ohsu main desk at Sam Jackson pavilion. ask for a patient advocate named kathy they can help..
Yes
Have no idea sorry
I think u would need to call them to make sure it was ok
Call the hospital and they will transfer you to the correct dept
Trimet,lol
yes you can... they have dogs they walk around for those who need an extra emotional boost that are companion animals to staff.
I think so, but might be better if you make an appt.
I believe in order to volunteer you have to do a background check I would contact the OHSU Doernbecher human resources department
You can see a few models from previous years on display near the main OHSU welcome desk; each year the winning designs are produced in limited runs and auctioned at the Portland Art Museum in October. ~hth
