Overall, I was impressed at just how fast they got everything done and the quality of care. The doctor kept things to the point, heard me out, and I felt he definitely cared and wanted to do his best to help. The only reason this isn't a five star rating was that the staff were awfully apathetic and curt. However, at the end of the day, the quality of care is what matters. And they certainly got things done.

UPDATE: The doc added to my chart that he couldn't find me so assumed I eloped. Then his shift ended and he went home, so he couldn't talk to me. I can't blame him for that, but I was roomed by a nurse and waiting in that room for literally hours. Why didn't anyone know where I was?? They have also billed my insurance at a level 5 ED service for this visit which is just insane. Terrible experience from start to finish but glad I didn't need to be admitted. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Tons of incorrect info in my chart note from a recent ED visit. Do they even know who I was or that was I was there? They said I eloped when I have printed discharge paperwork and was told I was being let go by a nurse. I don't think they knew who I was or they charted on the wrong person. My confidence in the department is near zero now. I've already contacted patient relations about this but I doubt they care. Oh well. Also don't understand the "we'll see you" then back to the waiting room. Then "we'll see you" then back to the waiting room. Then "we'll see you" and yep, you guessed it, back to the waiting room. Same drill for all of us, going back and forth 5-6 times each over the course of the night. I just can't see how that's an efficient way to provide adequate care. Even if I'm a lower priority (I guess the last thing you want is to be rushed back at an ED since that means you're probably in grave danger, but) I'd rather wait and be taken back once for all my tests than the constant shuffling. What a mess.

Merely wish to express my appreciation for the professionalism and care provided me after my recent hip surgery on 5/9 at Legacy Salmon Creek. From admittance to release, I was treated incredibly well by all those who I came in contact and all went off without a hitch. Special thanks go out to nurse David who I had most contact with over what seemed a very long evening. He did everything he could to make it better. Couldn't be more appreciative. Thank you, Paul Ward

I would avoid coming here unless you’re being transported via ambulance. The times I’ve been brought by ambulance I was helped immediately. Any other time, I’ve had to wait 5+ hours for any form of care. Before covid they ran a really great hospital, care was given in reasonable time and it was our favorite hospital. After covid they’ve gone down hill and will continue to blame everything from wait times to the desensitized staff on the pandemic, even though the rest of the world has adjusted to the new norm.

U should def call your transplant dr. If that person is not available call OHSU

Yes, they can be dropped off at the front of hospital
Call the operator 487-1000 and ask for the patients name
For that information, please call the hospital themselves. However, this hospital has been very good dealing with food allergies and preferences.
Only if it is a service animal or companion pet.
Not exactly sure what you mean by "senior" flu shots, but flu shots in general are available and have been available for quite some time now.

It depends on the providence plan. I am sure the ER will but as far as PCP and speciality only some plans are allowed, you could call your insurance to check specifically.
Not sure, I was only in ICU for a week. Call front desk to get the answer your looking for.
Yes they do. Contact the Volunteer Services office to make arrangements to drop it off (call the main number and the Operator can transfer your call).
Legacy Salmon Creek is a great place for emergencies of all ages. If it is an emergency and you'd like the patient to be transferred to Emanuel, you can opt for that but at private cost. If your child is in critical condition, which has been stabilized, it is not unusual to transfer them via PANDA unit. The Vancouver Clinic is at 139th/25th available, if you can sign up electronically for the urgent care or even a slim chance at getting an appointment with s pediatrician. My directives with my children is they can go to Legacy Salmon Creek for stabilization if needed, then to move on to Emanuel Randall's Children's Hospital. Keep in mind you have the right to dictate to AMR crew where you want your child transferred to. Unless there are circumstances that indicate otherwise this can usually be achieved. No, you cannot ride in the ambulance with your child. Yes, there may be an exception on the rare occasion, but don't expect it. It is for the safety of the patients & crew.
I Am Thai is very good, in the same complex as Starbuck's and Albertsons 140/20th have. There is Subway, Round Table Pizza, Jack in the Box and Muchias Gracias, Safeway at 142/20th Ave. Billygan's Roadhouse, Applebee's, McDonald's, Taco Bell in the complex where Red Lion is. Panda Express, Burgerville and Peet's Coffee in the same complex as Burgerville. Black Rock coffee at corner of 139th/20th Avenue. WB 139th street there is Kitchen Table, a street taco place W side of minit mart. Baskin Robbins, Pizza Scmizza, La Tapitio, Thai and Fred Meyer 1600 block NE Tenny Rd (which is what 134th turns into). Legacy cafe has a wide variety of items as well. Get on I-205 SB from 134th and the possibilities are endless. Multiple restaurants off 99th street exit and 78th street exit. Everything is laterally within 5 miles of the hospital. Hope this helps.
I'm unfamiliar with the doctor I am NOT a legacy Salmon Creek patient.
I think that is a very general accusation for probably specific circumstances. I know docs that are stellar with their patients and do pay attention to their charts and treatment. There are a few that dont. It's never okay to be neglectful of patients needs but you can't lump all docs together...
Call admissions they will have all those answers for you I don't know personally.
Depends on patients ahead of you. Also they will take more urgent patients like the guy who just ripped through his arm with a saw, and broke every bone in his body as he fell off the roof prior to the flu etc. Varies
Because they don't want someone to come looking for revenge while a Dr is on shift. Not sure about the past ones, but that's the for real answer they won't give you.
They sure can.
I dont think it costs anything if you send them to another doctor.
Not sure James because I was patient, but I would assume until 8-8:30 pm. Starting time probably at least 9 ish a.m. However ICU is another story. You can probably call & get the correct times for sure.
I believe so, call them and ask to be sure.
Not sure why this question came to me, I was only a patient.
Sorry, I eent in via ER, so I don 't know. But they do have a customer service area inside the front door...I actually have a friend who volunteers there on Thursday mornings. Sorry, couldn't be more help. Good luck to you.

Are you s Kaiser patient? They are very slow and noncaring. My husband was is horrible pain and we waited over a 1 1/2 in the emergency while others were being helped a they came in the foot. We left and went to sunnyside. Will never go back unless it's a matter of life and death. In another instance I was hospitalized and the nurses kept reminding me that they were not Kaiser nurses. Like that should make a difference but it may.
I believe you can call the hospital operator and ask.
Yes they accept Kaiser insurance company..and or patients..
