I’ve been waiting MONTHS for my skatecation and visiting Pigeon’s was definitely on my list after seeing it briefly back in 2016. Thanks to a very cool human named Hook I got everything my skater heart could dream of!!!!! Big Vacay Haul 🤩🛼💖

Love this shop! Local female skater as owner. Recently moved to LBC and the skate community here is great. Went to Pigeon's a few times so far and the staff here are BEYOND helpful and welcoming, EVERYTIME. Thanks for spreading the skate love. Also I was there today 7/28/22 and the staff working today helped convince me to upgrade to the Jack boot because of their sizes. I was absolutely in love with trying them on and ordered online.

I love Pigeons. I'm a former NYC roller derby skater who just relocated to LA and I needed new skates! I knew I wanted a pair of Moxis and this shop was on my radar from some recommendations from fellow derby skates. The moment I entered I was like "yup, this is my shop". It's cute, it's tasteful, the employees are skating around (and lookin' cute) and I was immediately IN LOVE. Tori and Hook helped me pick a pair and answered any and all questions I had. I also bought a shirt and some toe stops because, again, everything in the shop is SO CUTE! They also do custom mounts-- which I'm super pumped about. (My vans need wheels!). Every human I interacted with at this shop was wonderful. But special shout-out to Hook. I went back today for some additional questions and Hook was so incredibly kind and helpful. THIS IS WHY YOU SHOP MOM AND POP PEOPLE! Humans, humans, humans! That beautiful shop talk and conversation with folks who know their stuff. It is connection and community and why I will keep coming back. Do not buy skates from corporate monsters! Buy them from humans and Pigeons. They have a life-long customer in me. Thank ya'll so much.

My girls and I are taking up skating and popped over to Pigeons right when it opened (10am Saturday) and we were the only ones there. The gals there were SO positive and helpful to these newbies. As the shop started to fill with customers, Hook was still as attentive to the three of us like we were the only ones there. This was our one-stop shop. Each of us tried on about four different models and got the full download on each one. This was SUCH a good experience! We highly recommend getting there RIGHT when it opens and go with the understanding that there’s been a pandemic and a LOT of skates we’re on back order. We’ll be back the next time we’re in LB for sure!

Yee my exact question
I think that they can change you plate or you might have to go to another skate shop. If you get the jack boot you can pick your own plate as well as many other things but I am not sure that it can be colored
Yes. I change my wheels and bought new colored laces. They changed and helped with both
You will need to go to their website but unfortunately right now alot of their merchandise is out of stock 😢 😕
Yes, try the Fountain Valley Roller Rink. I take lessons on Monday nights and sometimes on Saturday mornings
Yes, they only ship the freight!
Yes. They do.
They do allow 2 people at a time in the store and when you get to the door if the line is long they will allow you to leave and be called when you are next in line
They aren't open! Either go to Skat8 Fanatics in Paramount or Rollers inc in Lawndale on Hawthorne Boulevard! I have visited both this weekend! I say go to Skat8 Fanatics first
We are closed but are currently open online at www.planetrollerskate.com
I think so
Like $200 or more depending on what parts you want
I don't think I saw any in-line skates there
Well, I looked in their website and there's no information about it. The things I can tell you from following the brand Moxi is: only Jack boot has half sizes (at least in the website is like that) and from people reviewing Moxi's Jack skates they say that the boot is firm but it molds to the feet! I think that if you send an email to them asking or call them you can have your doubts answered :)
no
Oxer's skates are good, you just need new wheels and there are plenty here in the country. If you search the internet, YouTube or ask someone who works with skates they know how to answer which wheel is the one you need.
Unfortunately they do not have resellers in Brazil so the only way to buy a Moxi rollerblade is to ask someone who will travel to bring it, go it yourself or ask on the website to deliver it here. Remembering that if you ask on the website, in addition to the price of the skates, you pay delivery fees, customs fees - 60% over the value of the product - and + taxes, it is very expensive.
They are out but only pre-orders have shipped
There are a very select and not guaranteed in stock, used/discounted skates. You're best bet is to get sized in brands youre interested in to know your skate size in different brands as the measurements differentiate.
Hey! They have outdoor and indoor wheels
