Best in Portland by far. I really appreciate the tailored approach and individualized care. Been working indirectly with Crestview team for years and can say their team is going the extra mile in every aspect of their program. I want to thank you for your continued dedication and passion for those you serve. Will always refer without any doubt about it.

Crestview offers high-quality care that is effective, patient-centered, and efficient! They have professionals who are respectful, communicate clearly and involve patients in decision-making. Highly recommend this treatment center!

I do not regret going to Crestview as it did help my recovery and it does offer a more liberal lifestyle compared to more clinical facilities. However, I was severely disappointed in the staff. The intake staff will lie to you on the phone, saying whatever sweet words they can to get you in and once you sign the contract you are stuck there or faced with severe financial fees if you choose to leave. They lie about what privileges you will have and how much time you can spend speaking on the phone with family, amongst other things. The staff in charge of governing the house and clients are all only one year sober, leaving them severely unequipped to be controlling a house of recovering patients. One staff member in particular would refuse to follow the DOCTOR’S ORDERS medical advice or provide prescribed medicines to patients. She would also intentionally do bizarre power plays for no reason, which I think is severely inappropriate for someone who is only one year sober to do to new clients. It felt somewhat like hazing or an odd power trip. The therapists were incredibly biased, though we all shared one group therapist (Erin) she would not show me any sympathy because I was not her private patient and would intentionally side with her private clients despite the fact that I was technically her patient too. She would offer her private patients emotional support when there was an altercation but never offered the same to me, and say invalidating things to me such as that my problems weren’t as important as her other private clients, which is extremely harmful and unprofessional. Additionally, the head of the program was unwilling to address these issues when I brought them up to him, leaving me with a “take it or leave it” situation, which is frustrating because to “take it” meant severe toll on my mental health and self esteem and to “leave it” meant going AMA and being charged with hefty medical bills and no insurance. Like I said, I don’t regret going because if I hadn’t gone to SOME sort of facility I’d be way worse off. But I think there are better facilities to go to by far if you care for your integrity, mental health, and quality of care.

I was one of the first people to pass through Crestview when it opened in 2016. Best treatment I ever had. An appropriate amount of responsibility lands on the patient for actually wanting to be there to better themselves. You're always going to have people in treatment that aren't serious and are waiting to seize the moment to drink or use. If you can apply yourself to AA and their program it's a great facility. I've been sober since. That was my 10th time in treatment.
