I am diagnosed with Covid. I gave them the paperwork proving so. The new head nurse left me sitting outside in the cold for an hour to be dosed. She slammed the door into me and sent me flying across the sidewalk. She laughed at me. I am the only person who she wont help. Other Covid patients get "take homes" so they can quarantine. She wont let me quarantine. She said and I quote " I dont care. Not my problem" So everyday im expected to wait outside after they close for an hour getting sicker for her to bring me a dose so i wont have to withdrawl while being sick with Covid. The nursing department has really gone downhill. They used to be the only ones who have it together. Now they yell at you. Dont care if a person has Covid. Wont let me quarantine. What kind of nurse treats patients with such hate? Go somewhere else. Save yourself. This place has changed for the worst. I got better treatment from a drug dealer

I was treated very well by just about every staff member at allied Belmont. Just like anywhere you go in the world your not going to click with everyone and I had that experience there a couple of times only in 5 years. I think that's a pretty good percentage. They genuinely care about the people that come their their lives and their recovery. I highly recommend anyone that is struggling with their addiction check this place out they literally saved my life.❤❤

If you want to get your life back on track, methadone (aka medicated assisted treatment) can be a great help. What methadone does is it buys you TIME. Time to find housing. Time to look for a job. Time to repair bridges burned. Time to reconnect with family and children. Time to create the life you want going forward. Once you've done that, the goal is to then SLOWLY taper off methadone, being able to do this because you've established the infrastructure of a connected life to support you. But not everyone wants this; some just don't want to be sick, and that's fine too. We strive to meet patients where they're at and to help them in every way we can. It's up to the patient to decide what they want, when they're ready to stop using, and how they're going to spend their time. As a counselor, I have worked at a number of treatment facilities-MAT, outpatient, nonprofit, etc. I have never worked with such a close-knit team across the board (medical, clinical, admin). Many counselors have been here for YEARS and nearly everyone else at least a year, which is NOT typical in this line of work. Working in methadone is organized chaos, extremely fast paced, with large caseloads, many responsibilities, and the guarantee of a new 'situation' to handle around every corner. The staff here truly love what they do. They genuinely care about the population they serve and strive to provide the best care possible. It is a privilege to be a part of such a strong, committed, and passionate team, and to play at least a small role in helping people who face so many challenges brings great satisfaction.

If you are looking to eventually obtain long-term abstinence, this clinic is not for you. Research benzos are sold basically outside the front door. If you want to still use other opiates, but want to use methadone as a tool to manage dependency, this is definitely the clinic for you. That being said, you can get whatever you want wherever you want, if you put your mind to it.

Denny you dork, this is Stephanie. Tou know how the process goes with these places. You have to go in and re-edited Mitt. Which takes about 3 to 4 hours. After that they will start you on the dose that they feel that you need at that time. Okay well obviously I've seen you at the downtown Clinic and I hope you're doing okay so you must have figured it out. If you see this message give me a call you have my phone number I would like to talk to you and catch up on old times. Love you.

Someone please tell me the best way to switch from subs to methadone??

Brenda Jones | Aug 18, 2019
Becky Bruno | Aug 17, 2020

First off don’t let anyone tell u what’s good for you... if u want to switch I’m pretty sure u can go straight from subs to methadone HOWEVER DO NOT GO STRAIGHT FROM METHADONE TO SUBS..... u will be IN DEBILITATING WITHDRAWALS I have been successfully on for over 10 years... I’m a thriving member of society I am a great mother to 3 children including 1 special needs child who relies on me for everything and a new granddaughter who we raise... so u can do it... good luck I hope this is helpful

If u need to get paperwork done than u should come in around 8 and u should expect to be there for about an hour. Once your a client if u work you can come in at 530 am if your not working than you cant come dose till after 6AM but it's a mad house then. You should come around 7 and there's no line. Hope this helps
