My boyfriend went through this program in October 2019. He was in bad shape with his alcoholism. He had done a lot of horrible things and was no longer the person I fell in love with. He went to DePaul and stayed there until February. We credit his sobriety to this place. If it weren't for DePaul, he probably wouldn't be here today. I'm not sure how so many folks have had such a bad experience here. He tried other places like Hooper Detox Center, and honestly, it just made him worse. Other places let him blame his problems on his addiction. DePaul made him realize that he had a disease/addiction, but he was capable of doing better. They had counselors and staff members who truly cared. Today, he admits that he will always be an alcoholic, and it will always be a battle to stay clean, but he has stayed clean since leaving DePaul and is way easier to talk to nowadays. Thank you so much, DePaul! I truly hope some of the folks who helped him through are still there to help others. ♡

I went through detox, residential, and outpatient here, back in January 2021. I just celebrated one year clean! I’ve been to a lot of rehabs and had no success. De Paul/Fora Health was different. I received the mental health treatment I needed, along with traditional substance abuse therapy. The continuum of care was awesome. Also, I have to recognize the diligence of management upholding Covid protocol. There were multiple covid outbreaks during my stay but each time was handled safely and per the CDC recommendations. I always felt safe. Thank you everyone at De Paul who supported me on my road to recovery, especially my counselor Lindsey Ramsey and RC Jen.

We brought our son to get help with his addiction issues. They couldn’t last 30 days and this is suppose to be a 60 day program. Thanks for not helping. Our son needs help and you kick him out over a fight with another patient. Do they expect teenage kids with drug issues to act perfect? I do not recommend this treatment facility for anyone.

I was the first person at the door in the morning and taking people on a first come, first serve basis is bs. They had four beds and took the four people behind me including one person who didn't even have insurance. He was allowed to go inside and call the Oregon Health Authority to obtain insurance. They told me to come back tomorrow, and that I was a difficult detox case. The two previous times I was here, they gave me so much Ativan that I was extremely confused and incoherent. I was sent to the hospital both times where I was left to detox with no meds. Nurses are nice but inexperienced. I'm going to Hooper where they know what they are doing.

It's a pretty good idea to get sober together if your married , I think personally that if 2 people who really love and care about each other's well being and health should get sober together and learn to communicate with out arguing or being in denial , that's the difference between codependant and interdependent
Hi Misty, Here is a link to our website that has the items you are allowed to bring to our residential treatment program. https://depaultreatmentcenters.org/wp-content/uploads/What-to-Bring-to-Treatment-120618.pdf If you have any further questions please don't hesitate to call us at (503) 535-1150. Thanks, De Paul Treatment Centers
Do you accept Oregon health plan open cards
But they dont do visitations in the facility
They start intake at 8 am and I believe its Monday through Friday
No just have to go down and do the screening
Call DePaul and ask for in take.
60 day. More time can be recommended if needed.
Absolutely! And if you have kids with a client they usually have a designated visiting day.
It all depends on what your individual needs are. 60 days to 120 seem to be the norm. I stayed there for 114.
Yes they do.
Call down to DP and talk to admissions. There could be a wait list just so you know.
Hi Joey. I do not work for DP just so you know. I am a previous client. I would definitely call down there and talk to admissions. I do not see why they would not allow that. I suggest also consider going to residential also. Its a great program.
Yes you can. There are designated smoke breaks. Up to 6 per day. You are also allowed to smoke when away from the building like going to outside meetings, walks to the park, etc.
Unfortunately no. You are allowed to have a radio or CD player. I believe you can have an iPod or mp3 player as long as it does not have a screen. There were many of us that had the iPod shuffle or something similar.
No you do not. Do you have any insurance? OHP? Call down and talk to admissions about detox. And after you are done with that portion you can decide to stay for residential treatment which I highly highly recommend.
