It was time in 2020 to reface our 1970 wooden cabinet doors that had already been painted once by us 20 yrs prior. After visiting many small local vendors and big box stores we found quality lacking or pricing ridiculously high. An internet search and a review from a prior client in our area from Ponte Vedra Fl, led us to Barker. We purchased all unpainted wood doors, drawers & drawer fronts, easy close drawer & door hardware for a large kitchen. For our large order we were very nervous about the measurements which were rechecked x 3 (a good thing as 1st needed changes, 2nd & 3rd had sign off) Staff was so responsive and helpful as we prepared measurements for our order. They also called us when order was received to verify the # of each and measurements. We were given lead time and shipping time as these were going from Oregon to NE Florida. Barker door met and exceeded timeline. Although we did receive an extra box that contained another clients cabinet doors we contacted Barker door immediately and were thanked profusely and would contact the intended client. They did not ask for us to ship them back so they were donated to Habitat as they were not our style door. We did painting (sprayed) ourselves to save cost. We did feel some pieces needed additional prep prior to painting (light sanding) but nothing of great significance. All door hinges and drawers were easy to install and 2 years later work great. While I hope to not have to do such a big refinish again I would definitely to Barker Door if existing cabinets are a good wood. Great product and company to deal with.

I've ordered items from Barker Door 3 times. Most recently I ordered 18 doors and drawer fronts along with Blum hinges and drawer sliders. The only complaint I have is that the recent order took 11 weeks to fulfill. I'm sure that is due to supply chain and labor issues. But the doors were perfect. Every dimension was exactly what I specified. The quality was consistent and excellent. I had Barker prime the doors and drawer fronts and I finished them with white paint. The under-mount slides and the slow-close hinges rounded out the perfect completion to my project. If I had made the doors, they would not have been nearly as good.

I am trilled with my Barker cabinets. They are beautiful, they fit and we have had only small problems all of which were very easy to rectify. And all of those problems were either: I ordered something wrong, I missed something or I didn’t understand something on the website when I ordered. A local contractor stopped by to see the cabinets. The houses he builds are all million dollar plus homes. He loved the cabinets and asked for the contact information. He said he has paid $90K for cabinets for homes that were no where near as nice. But here is my story on how I came to order my cabinets on-line from an “unknown” source. Our first decisions for our complete kitchen remodel was “where to buy cabinets”. We looked at local shops but it seemed like we had to make do with what they had with little options on customizing them for our needs. We considered buying from a local custom shop, but all were overwhelmed with supply chain issues. Also, we were not certain they would fit our budget. I researched on the web for possibilities and came across Barker Cabinets. Spending almost $20,000 on-line for cabinets initially looked fool hearty. I started asking my questions to Barker and was quickly introduced to Clayton. I doubt if Clayton hadn’t been attentive, I would have ever considered ordering from Barker. But before we ordered, I must have sent 50 or more emails to Clayton, all of which were quickly and actually answered. When I asked the clearance of the mixer cabinet to see if my mixer would fit, he gave me specifics. It was Clayton’s responsiveness that lowered my concern about ordering on-line. I know if it hadn’t been for the quick responses and helpful advice, I never would have taken a chance. I ordered most of the samples of wood … for whatever that cost me, it was worth it to see all the different types in my environment. We quickly settled on the three favorites but it took a couple of weeks to decide on the tamarack cherry. It looked the best in the room with the lighting. And now that they are up, we can see it was the correct decision. At first it felt too dark but the longer we lived with that sample, the more certain we became. We had one large piece of furniture made of teak, and wanted it to feel similar. From a distance, they look identical. When I asked Clayton ordering time, I was told 16 weeks and then there would be shipping time. To keep our contractor in the loop, I checked twice during the 16 weeks to make certain we were still on target. When Clayton was on vacation, another employee at Barker, answered my emails. “Yes, the time-line was still accurate.” And they did ship on-time. The shipping was delayed a couple of days from what they said, but in this environment, that felt reasonable. We had four pallets of cabinets. All were very clearly labeled and each cabinet was separately packaged and very well padded, no damage occurred in shipping. My husband spent two days unpacking the cabinets and lining them up for our contractor. He also watched the assembly video and was confident there would be no problems. It took the contractor and my husband a day and a half to assemble the cabinets. We had ordered just under 30 cabinets most with drawers. We were missing some screws and a door mount, but Barker express shipped them to us, so we had no delay in our construction. We were very lucky to have Scott Welch (Building Brothers in Phoenix) as our contractor. The most daunting thing about ordering was to make certain the cabinets were measured correctly. Scott offered great advice, like ordering panels to cover the sides of our refrigerator. But he played an even more important role…settling the differences between my husband’s measurements and my own. We bypassed most arguments by asking Scott to stop by to check the measurements. When they were hung, there were moments of anxiety, but they all fit perfectly. The cabinets are exactly as I imaged. They are just gorgeous and look like high end pieces of furniture.

Looking for cabinet doors to replace some old ones. First went to a big box store and didn't like the process, and was unsure about quality. .and their price was insane. Found Barker, started putting together the order and realized it was cheaper with a smaller lead time. Then the product came...the quality is amazing!! The order was 100% correct to the 1/16th of an inch, packaging was excellent, it all arrived in great shape. Compared to "big cabinet". These guys were cheaper, better quality, lead time and service. Will use again any chance I get. It's nice to order something and get the quality you pay for and expect...Made right in the USA. Website has all instructions you need for measuring....measure carefully and twice. ( Pictured has a few cabinets with no handles yet, but that's the pure white shaker) Highly recommend!!

Only the "Showroom" is open for limited hours. This allows us to have "manager level" staff assist customers with questions in person. Our factory/production facility is open 5-7 days per week depending on demand.
Orders for raw/unfinished drawer boxes ship in about 3-4 weeks from the date they are placed. https://www.barkerdoor.com/category-s/103.htm

Sizes, quality, and engineering strength. Check out the drop test on you tube. I have not seen this quality of joints in HD. And if u typically load up your drawers heavy and witnessed them fall apart after a year, they're worth the cost.
Sounds like somebody is trying to scam you...
