This place has the best Sicilian pizza I ever ate! Love it! Personally I love their pizza more than Original on Avenue L.

Armando's Pizza should get landmark status, because they have stood the test of time. And the ever-changing neighborhood. And another reconstruction of the train station. AND Covid-19. But the pizza is still the best around, hands down. Thanks for being the SPOT guys!

Armando's was, is, and forever will be, the KING OF SICILIAN PIZZA! I didn't visit this place for many years, just because I didn't live too close. When I tried Armando's again, some 25 years after my Canarsie days, the pizza was at least as good as I remembered. Let's start with the crust. It's always fresh; not par-baked for speed, like most pizzerias. It is always light and airy. The sauce is bursting with flavor, too. You can taste the quality of the tomato sauce and the perfect blend of seasonings. To top it off, there's the cheese: an abundance of stretchy, delicious mozzarella that goes on for days, yet never seems like too much. I have put toppings on this pie, but it's really not necessary. In addition to this phenomenon of pizza perfection, Armando's makes quite a few other great items. Topping my list is the Margarita pie, with a fresh tomato sauce, fresh basil, fresh mozzarella, and a ring of sesame seeds around the crust. Their hero sandwiches are brought to another level by the delicious fresh bread upon which they create these masterpieces. I could go on, but you're probably in your car right now, heading to Rockaway Parkway already. If not, then you should be. Tell Carlo that Randy sent you!

Good SOME OF THE TIME . Really dont know why maybe a different pizza maker everytime I go who knows but ur odds seem 50/50 on getting a really nice pizza honestly.. but it's a shame there is no consistency in recipe but oh well I will keep rolling the dice cause there pizza is better than a lot of other places at it's worse.

Yes 1960s....my grandfather's place
If you ordered on line they do those orders last so it takes longer for them to deliver or the delivery man left before fulfilling all deliveries
