I love my home. I'm new to Portland and couldn't have asked for a better place to be. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. And, this is the view from my office. So very happy.

Unfortunately, I don't know what it's like to live here. But as a potential applicant, I greatly appreciated the respect they showed for my time by notifying me that their openings had changed before I invested resources in touring apartments that were no longer available. I wish other apartment buildings were as polite and responsive.

Visited a friend here today for the first time this weekend.. I've gone past this place a bunch (as has any Portlander who rides MAX) but now that I've gotten a look around inside it's very nice! Most people think the location is the only selling point (it gets brought up too much) but even if this place was very far away and had no Transit access, I would still think it was a nice building!

The Union is phenomenal. Conveniently located almost directly on top of the most commonly traveled MAX lines in the city, it's a commuter's dream. The building is clean, carefully attended, and staffed with some of the most helpful and attentive folks an apartment resident could ask for. At first glance the pricing looks on par for the area, but when you consider the convenience of the location and see the quality of the units, it's almost too good to be true. I get up every morning, go down three floors to the gym, come back up and watch the sun rise through floor-to-ceiling windows, and walk 90 seconds out the door to take the MAX to PSU. I couldn't ask for a better place to live; grateful every day here.

There are a few parallel parking spaces along the building's entrance drive that runs from MLK Jr Blvd to Multnomah St. If those spots are full, your next best bet would be one of the metered spots along NE 3rd Ave just north of the Union. Not a ton of nearby parking options, so I'd definitely recommend for visitors to take the bus or MAX if possible since there are several stops nearby.

Very. There is a wait list for building parking, and you will pay for the privilege. They also partner with a parking structure 5 blocks away for residents, but again, monthly charge for parking
