2022 UPDATE: Hawthorne Auto is under new management since I wrote this review just below, but nothing has changed and we still love and trust this business. We have been taking our 2001 Prius to Hawthorne Auto for many years. Without exception we have found the folks there to be highly trained and impeccably honest and we can't recommend them highly enough! We recently brought the car in for an oil change and asked them to check the error codes because a warning light had been coming on and off for quite a while. The result? The codes showed a problem with the main battery pack. Hawthorne Auto had installed a refurbished battery pack a couple of years ago and they told us it is still under warranty, so they are replacing it at no cost. Just one example of the way Hawthorne Auto diagnoses problems and does business.

Very Happy with the Hawthorn Auto Clinic; here is why: about 2 weeks ago, I developed a rotational noise which I thought was related to the front axil, or brakes. I took it to my professional neighborhood mechanic who diagnosed it as a transmission problem. I took it to Hawthorn Clinic and agreed to have it diagnosed for $135.00 or less. They concluded that it was a loose rear wheel lug nut. I have had no problem since
