I had B&M rebuild my Toyota 20R engine and while their guys forgot to properly torque my head onto the block upon return to me, I am overall satisfied with the job they did. The engine has about 300 miles on it since rebuild and it’s running strong. If I don’t come back to this thread to update after I reach 5,000 miles, then assume that all is well and that my build was legit. ***update: After a few thousand more miles on my rebuild, the engine seems to be running beautifully. Thanks for the work!

I bought a "re-man" engine here a couple of years ago for $3500. After the the install it was super low compression, burning oil, and making a ton of noise not to mention it would never pass DEQ. I took it back and they wouldn't back their warranty and took another $1500 to rebuild it again! The second time they at least replaced the timing chain guides which should have been done the first time but it still to this day burns oil and is below spec on compression. I wouldn't let them do any work on another vehicle again. Buyer beware!

Great work, affordable rates, helpful staff. I bought a rebuilt Toyota 22re longblock from them and had no issues. They’ve also been patient and helpful with other little problems I’ve had now and then. I’m a freelance mechanic and can attest to the quality of their work. Highly recommended.

Nice Local Mechanic shop in SE Portland. Affordable prices, quality work. I had them rebuild the engine on my Jeep Cherokee. They did a very good job and gave me 12 months warranty on parts and labor. Definitely recommend it!

I was doing a rebuild on a 318. Friend purchased fully loaded heads when I went to install them. There were no rocker assembly on the heads. He left old heads there with rocker assembly. Do you still have them?
