They are a day shelter only. They will open as a warming shelter with mats on the floor when the Portland warming shelters are open for the night. I believe it's when the temp drops to freezing at night. They can give you information on other places to get help.

I don't know the answer. I don't. Volunteer there. I just donate things.
There are no nuns here. It is a place where homeless can safely go Tues thru Fri.
They need to be outdoors clothing, things you would wear camping. They can give you suggestions as to where to donate for items they can't use. No household items except blankets, and no larger than full sized. Again, think camping items. They serve the homeless community, so can't use most nicer clithing or household items.
I have gone there to donate & as a volunteer. I don't know if there is another place to get food on those days. Sorry.
Weekdays, unless the temperature outside feels like freezing, they will open for sleeping at night.
