The BEST lunch we had in New Buffalo. We had the velveeta cheeseburger and holy smokes was it delicious. They also have the best seasoned waffle fries i have ever tasted. The chili cheese fries were okay.. I also had a root beer bloat and it was delicious. Also they only take CASH. The service was great. They brought our food out so quickly, they’re a well oiled machine.

If you've ever been, you'll be pleased to discover that aside from the prices and some nice building updates, everything regarding the food and service is the same. Delicious and friendly. I'm a local and have been going my entire life. I have a few tips. 1. Don't be offended by the hostesses rudeness. They've always been like this, I used to be one for a brief time lol I'm convinced it's part of the experience at this point. Lol, seriously, you'll forget about it once your awesome server comes. 2. If you can, go dine in during the off season. If you want to order in the peak season, and are in a hurry to get your food, call in for carry out. During season those wait lines to seat can get really long, rightfully so. 2.5 if you get carryout, order your fries "extra crispy" tp avoid them getting soggy! 2.75 if you don't order a cup of cheese with those fries, you're doing it wrong. 3. They only take cash, and do have an atm on site. But if you don't want to pay the fee to use it, stop at your own bank for cash on the way. 4. TIP WELL. The employees are earning a years worth of income in half the time, and they deserve it.

***Cash only*** Overall I really enjoyed this place. Lots of energy both from the staff and the other guests. The food was really tasty as well. Can definitely tell it was very freshly made. I got the ultimate and it was a great value for what you get. The fried mushrooms, onions, pickles and cauliflower were really tasty. Cheese fries had a nice crunchy texture with a soft inside.

A staple restaurant in New Buffalo. Comfort food, nice service and a relaxed atmosphere. A good selection of beers, cocktails with funny names like the Windex, and old fashion non-alcoholic drinks complete the menu. Worth the stop for a local experience. Note: it’s a cash only establishment! But there is an atm on-site. Plenty of parking.
