Generous portions and perfectly grilled teriyaki make this one of my favorites in the Southcenter Mall food court.

Used to be my favorite place. I went there today March 22,2022. I ordered chicken teriyaki with additional chicken for $1.99 more. It used to be worth it but today, I was sorry I added extra chicken, because the chicken looks like it was grilled very early on the morning or even yet last night. They were so hard and dry, they mixed a few pieces of freshly grilled one, you can surely tell the freshly grilled and the old ones. It was already 2 pm when we were there, so I was thinking the old chicken was from previous day. WHAT A BIG DISAPPOINTMENT, IS THIS UNDER NEW MANAGE (southcenter branch)

Sarku Japan is the best teriyaki you’ll find an any mall food court. Their chicken teriyaki is absolutely delicious. I recommend ordering the chicken with fried rice, ask for double meat and extra sauce, and add some Sriracha sauce at the end. Every time I’m near this mall, I swing by and pick up some food from Sarku Japan. If you haven’t been to one before, it’s a pretty common Teppanyaki experience. You order your food, typically some rice with a side of veggies and some kind of meat on top chicken, beef, or shrimp. They grill up the meat right there on the grill in front of you, and steamed vegetables as well. Ask for extra sauce on your teriyaki when you get it. You’ll thank me later. Usually they have a bottle of Sriracha sauce at the counter as well, so you can kick it up a notch by adding some to your dish, which I would recommend. This particular Sarku is located in my favorite food court in the area. The Southcenter mall food court is really huge, and nicely decorated. There’s a lot of seating, and everything looks a little higher end than most malls.

They are not. The signage that said they were opening in March changed, and now says April. I too am waiting impatiently.
the lawyer posting on their store front where you order food says they owe back rent and other cost of over $250k
