The Hot Doughnuts light is switched on when fresh hot doughnuts are ready. I've been told their app will show when hot doughnuts are ready, however, I haven't checked it out myself.
That I can't answer I'm sorry, but we were there around 5pm and the hot light went on. Each store is different.
