I do not know an exact date, I do remember going to Sears with Mom and Dad to pick up catalog orders.That was back in the 1970's! Do you remember getting a Sears catalog in the mail? Then placed orders by phone, and picked up in store at the catalog desk? Sorry I cannot give you an exact date. Perhaps the Berks Historical society could help you.
