I work in the fast food business..I know your supposed to have that smile and be nice to everyone that walks in the door. My managers clothes are clean..theirs are not, they were full of grease!. I couldn't care less how their day was going..a smile is the way it is in the fast food business..when you go to work..your supposed to leave your problems at home..period. Well, the food was ,, " ok"... my fish was overcooked but not burnt, it was still edible.
Sorry to say Michele, common courtesy doesn't seem to be so common anymore. Unless these young people know a boss is close by, they couldn't be bothered. I believe the old saying, treat others like you want to be treated is one of the best. So I try to be nice to everyone no matter how miserable they may be. I won't stoop to their level. Honestly you deserve better. If you feel their behavior was not nice, I would call and complain. Just because someone is having an off day is NOT YOUR FAULT and they should not take it out on you.
