I used to ride bus all the time I enjoyed it Met some nice people on the bus Bus service itself is mixed bag Some days service real good Didn't have to wait long and drivers friendly Nice trip Other days bus very late and drivers don't want to seem to be bothered with questions from passengers Most of the time it good service

Over all, LCTA dose a great job, almost all the drivers are super nice, the night service is wonderful, and the price is far better than any other transpiration.

The driver's are very kind. And I love the fact that LTCA has added night service. Whish Colts would do the same. Luzern county is doing alot much better then Lackawanna county. The only thing they need to work on is Sunday service. People do work on Sundays. Taxi cabs are too expensive. And not everyone can drive.

So.. today took an interesting turn. I've been up since 5:30am, prepared to take two buses to get to my eye Dr appointment this morning. I got on the first bus around 6:30am, said good morning to the driver as I payed my fare, and started heading to a seat. Before I sat or even was able to hold on to anything, the bus started to move and I lost my balance and fell on my right side. No one offered to help me up or even bother to ask if I was ok. My thigh was in pain and I was shaking, fighting back tears afraid of anything being wrong with my baby (I'm eight months pregnant). So instead of making it to my Dr app, I took a bus to the emergency room just to be sure my baby was ok. I'd rather be safe then sorry.

You would have to call the bus company cause of the snow routes.
Number 11 is scheduled to leave Pittston at approximately 9:40. It normally gets into the Wilkes-Barre terminal around 10:20-10:30

Yes I called the bus dispatch and that is what they told me
The night runs are on hold until it gets approved by their union reps... I asked an LCTA driver on Dump the Pump day and again at the mini farmers market on Mondays. Edit: The night runs started in late September. Update: The night runs have started but they are only on the weekdays.
They said sometime in April.......
No night runs are different starting times and only on the weekdays, but they do not run 24 hours.

The #14 starts at 5am and the others start before 5:30am nothing has changed only the buses fares went up.....
They'll mail it to you but they might charge you for the mailing. Your best bet is to pick it up if you can. Call 570-BUS-TIME And they tell you exactly what what you have to do. Hope this helps. They are usually freindly and very helpful at the intermodal bus center in Wilkes-Barre. Hope this helps.
