To me it did. The wait sucks but it was perfectly seasoned and the bacon is thick. It's thick pork belly and not the usual crispy bacon you get. It's also just slightly more expensive than "gourmet burgers" so for me it was worth it. Get it with the egg too.

It totally does NOT live up to the hype. It was too salty. Otherwise it was well prepared but still not worth a 1-2 hour wait. Their drinks and music were great though!

Yes, it's a great burger and definitely worth a visit... but I feel that if you're looking for a burger where the meat itself is worth the hype, Owen & Engine is the better beef.
