Its probably the same on your job too. Less help but more work. Plus folks have been conned into being replaced by self checkout and atms (at bank). Yet no improvement in service.

Self checkout lines are the longest of all

Apply for the position, maybe they are hiring...

This is what the new economy brings.. it not just Safeway its all stores.. Walmart has 20 check outs, maybe 4 are open Target the same the new kid..ALDI is probably the worst of all with 2 working at any one time...

Try using the self checkout lanes. That way you don't have to worry about cashiers. They've limited the number of cashiers on staff at particular times.
