Sorry Miriam, you are sort of wrong. You defined "Pica" correctly, but "PCA" as used at LBMMC means Personal Care Assistant. Basically, your CNA when you're inpatient.
An abnormal craving to eat substances that you are not supposed to due to the deficiency of some nutrients. These include: chalk, ashes, or bones. This can also happen if the person has a mental illness. I hope I gave you the correct response but to make sure I strongly suggest that you ask google to define pica in medical terms and that is exactly how you will get the appropriate answer. Good luck!
