DO. NOT. GO. HERE. EVER. My dad at 72 yo drove there earlier today after briefly having symptoms of a heart attack. He felt better upon arrival and they triaged him with vitals and a blood draw. 10 hours later he left. Never saw a doctor and no follow-up vitals were ever taken. If up to me he wouldn't have come here. Back in 2007 my wife and I came here with our 2 yo who was in pain for a possible broken arm. Finally got in to see a doctor who fixed her arm with a simple rotation that took all of 30 seconds. No bone break but the elbow tendons got twisted. We were in the ER that day for 14 hours. Unless you're in a deep coma go to another hospital and if in an ambulance do yourself a favor by pushing the back door open and throw yourself onto the street. You'll get better care. There aren't enough negative stars to give to this fortress of ☠️.

If I could rate this place 0 stars I would. I was admitted through the emergency department which I was at for a whole day waiting for a room to be available. I was in severe pain that resulted in me crying and physically shutting down but the doctors refused to give me anything but Tylenol which did not work. After being admitted into a room, I waited 3 days in pain to see a surgeon who then refused to do the procedure. I was then told I would be discharged despite nothing having been done and I left in the exact same pain that I was when I came in. This is incredibly frustrating for someone who absolutely does not like to be in hospitals and poked with needles but I let them insert an iv despite my severe phobia of needles only for it to be all for nothing. Can’t wait to NEVER come back here again, this is absolutely ridiculous.

I was in excruciating pain with a high fever and they kept me outside in the freezing cold in a hard chair outside an outdoor tent for many hours despite my difficulty with sitting up. I fell of my chair from pain multiple times and my body was bent forward because of the pain. They took many hours getting my COVID test results back and let me suffer outside in the cold while they waited for results. Not once did anyone bother to explain what the hold up was. They had zero compassion and zero efficiency. Once my COVID results came back negative, they let me go inside to wait more hours in a very crowded, dirty, smelly waiting room where people were coughing shoulder to shoulder and babies were screaming making my headache worse. The wait was extreme. I will never recommend this ER room to anyone and I will never return unless I’m actually on the brink of death and it’s my last resort.

Terrible and rude employees. Receptionist desk Ashley and Monica give attitudes to customers. They MUST learn how to speak to customers in a nice tone of voice. My father had surgery and I went to visit him March 26th and drove 2 hours. They simply cannot just give attitudes to customers explaining only 2 visitors allowed daily. Instead they give you attitudes. No morals and ethics. I would definitely stay away from Long Beach Memorial Hospital. Extremely sad and disappointing environment and employees.

I suggest that you go ask them for a copy of your medical records at the front counter.
I am not sure to tell you the truth but if you go ask someone from the reception area I am pretty sure they can tell you. Good luck!
I would Google her. I got a lot of info about my new doctors that way and their affiliates. The other option is to look her up under the AMA by name
Till now waiting. and they haven't called me
There are several parking places depending where you are going. The main building parking will be through Long Beach Blvd. & Memorial Med Center or you can enter through Atlantic Ave. If you going ER, I would recommend going to Columbia Ave, the same if you are visiting for any OBGYN
Not that I know of either
Been a RN there for over 30 years and the CNA nursing union is strong there, about 15 yr ago
Yes. He can. Long Beach Memorial has been very proactive in promoting "Dad Inclusiveness" in pre and post natal care.
If you have insurance you have to make sure that this hospital is in their Network so you'll be covered I would Google the doctors names to see who would suit you the best if you don't have insurance I would call the Hospital Administration and check on prices and what it's going to cost you I had a niece who had surgery there and had no complaints and just last week my nieces daughter had a baby girl no complaints about the staff or her treatment there seems like a good Hospital like I stated earlier Google and check on what references you can before you pick a doctor good luck
I am not sure. Please call labor and delivery
It depends on how long ago you were hospitalized. I would start by calling your OBGYN (or whoever delivered your baby) since that person is the one who signs a certificate of live birth. He or she may be able to get the Records Dept at the hospital to provide you with an original copy of the certificate without undue paperwork. If the birth happened awhile back (over 6 months) you'll need to contact the Long Beach Dept of Health and Human Services. They keep records of births in Long Beach and a certificate is free until the infant is one year old. After that you'll need to contact the County of Los Angeles Registrar's Office to obtain a copy. Good luck.
Yes. Children's Hospital is part of the Hospital campus
You have to callthe Records deparrment...
Hello Ria LBM has a lot of female md but I am not sure what types of insurances
Sorry Miriam, you are sort of wrong. You defined "Pica" correctly, but "PCA" as used at LBMMC means Personal Care Assistant. Basically, your CNA when you're inpatient.
Most surgeries are outpatient nowadays. It's up to your doctor and especially your surgeon whether you get to stay overnight.
Go to the main hospital located on Atlantic. Reception area ask for Medical records. I believed medical records is downstairs
It depends on the floor but I want to say 9 for NON ICU floors and 24 hours for ICU floors don't quote me though
You could go to the clinic of its not that serious of a emergency by the emergency area
Great job getting this vital info out
Go to the hall of records. They have one in Norwalk, CA
I dought it hospital wont give any info unless your a family member
Go to building for records or if you prefer ancestry.com purchase it and they may be able to fine her records. I did that's how i found mom
I have never needed an appt at the emergency room
It could have been just a misdial where are you punch in the number and get one of the digits wrong realizing your mistake you hang up as fast as possible it's happened me more than once
I agree ,call the Hospital for that kind of information.
call the hospital you'll get the operator ask for the person by name that'd be first and last and the department they work in that should do it. you might have to leave a message for them to call you back
