Dogs are permitted in designated areas during the day if they are kept on a leash. They aren't allowed in the buildings like the cabins.

We rented a lake house so I'm not sure if maybe that owner in particular was or was not okay with dogs but a few boats passed by the dock at the back of the house and they did have dogs
