No dogs allowed on beach or even close to it take $10 in coo to park or refit card. No bills accepted in machines you can rent chairs and shelters but pricey. Take your own. Some bars are on the beach. No shade. Do NOT being dog. You will be asked to leave

It's not a "dog" beach if that's what you're asking. You'd be better off going to Fort DeSoto if you are looking for a shoreline that welcomes animals.
We were just there and there was two dogs there with their family and yes they had them on a leash
A lot of wrong answers here! NO DOGS ARE ALLOWED, YOU CAN BE FINED! There's a Dog Beach at the So end of St Pete Beach on Pass A Grille Way. Not on the Gulf side.
I've seen very few dogs there..and they were on a leash.
When I went I didn't see any dogs the times I visited. But, Port St. Lucie beaches are very dog friendly.
