You can bike or walk along a small brige- road out to an awesome beach.you can park right on the water, it's pretty just doing that, but you can drive out to the main beach area with restrooms and rentals- snow cones in a couple of minutes.i would definitely stay here again.rooms are spotless, and there is a fantastic restaurant with a view next door.
No, Honey moon island is about 5 minutes away by car. You have to pay to get into the state park. Clearwater beach is about 12-15 minutes away straight shot. We were literally just there last week.
