This location is easily missed. It is nestled behind the trees that align the sidewalk just before the traffic light at CR1/Keene Rd (across the street from Wells Fargo Bank). It shares the parking lot with the VPK learning center. It's a well maintained and notably competitively priced animal medical hospital (medical office visit $49 and wellness $29 call for info). There is adequate parking. The service is friendly and caring (Dr. Calhoun). They call and follow-up to check on your fur baby after servicing.

Having to decide when to help a pet transition to the rainbow bridge is always difficult. From our first interaction with making an appointment through picking up our fur babie’s ashes the entire staff was knowledgeable,friendly,empathetic. The sympathy card signed by the entire staff was so heartfelt and appreciated. The day we picked up our Bella’s remains the staff offered condolences and support. The presentation of her ashes and paw print was beautiful. I feel my baby was tended to with respect and caring through the entire process

Dr. West just moved to Dunedin Animal Medical Center. She is absolutely amazing. We were so pleased with the entire staff. They were all very friendly and welcoming. It was our pets first visit and she walked right in without hesitation. It was just a very pleasant experience. I recommend this vet to everyone!

I have been brining my two cats here for 8 years now and the service is still excellent after all this time. The staff is very friendly and so helpful. Recently they have started see "exotic" pets and I jumped on the chance to bring in my pet hedgehog to them. I was worried because she can be temperamental but both the technician and veterinarian were super understanding and gentle with her. They exceeded my expectations and am so grateful and happy to now be able to bring all my fur babies to one place. Thank you to everyone at Dunedin Animal Medical Center for being so kind and helpful.

All of our dental cleaning are done under anesthesia, there are a couple of reasons for this: Your pet will not allow us to perform proper full mouth dental x-rays, dental cleaning and polishing, and extractions (if needed) while awake.
