Are Dallas Police Officers on patrol INSIDE Northpark Mall? IF yes, are then on duty as policeman or working 'extra' as security guards? Does NorthPark have its own security guards who are NOT police?

All malls have their own security. Plus expensive stores like Louis Vuitton, gucci,versace and Fendi have their own security ppl at the doors of their stores. I haven't seen a police officer in the mall working as mall security....unless mall security called the cops or if the officer is off duty shopping in the mall. Some cops do security jobs on the side for financial reasons.

They are police officers and they do patrol on the inside of the mall. I love it!
