Reservations are not required, but there is a chance you may show up and the grounds are full, especially on weekends and holidays. Making a reservation is highly recommended.
Not sure if you absolutely have to make a reservation, but I would call to be sure. We made a reservation but they never put up a reservation sign for our tent site so 🤷♀️ if it's for the weekend I would definitely call to make sure you can get a spot just in case
