A must do in Arizona although not recommended during summer season. We took a 3 hour raft trip down the Colorado river and it was blazing hot so most of it was difficult to enjoy. This is in no way a negative about this business as there is no control over the weather. The guides are absolutely amazing! If you choose to go during the hot season, make sure to bring swim attire because you will definitely want to take a dive in their river. The water is beautiful and refreshing.

First time whitewater rafting, and AiW made it an enjoyable one. Allie, the lead guide, did a great job with helping us feel ready. The water was great for first timers and families. It had a few faster parts, but they were very manageable. The stops for the cliff dive and hot spring were fun. And the bus ride there and back gave a nice view of a large gorge and alpine desert. For our 8am trip, the river was pretty empty, which was nice. All in all, it was a good experience!

We had a WONDERFUL rafting trip with this company this week! My husband and I took our 3 girls ages 9, 8, and 5 and they all had a blast! The water is cold and the views are amazing! Our guide was funny and had lots of good info about the area and Colorado River. We were staying in Breckenridge and this was a quick drive for us and totally worth it. When we return to Colorado we will be booking through this company again for sure!

Crispy was a great guide and shares a lot about the area during the trip. We did a half day and the weather was awesome. We did a little stop at the hot springs along the river at Radium and that was interesting because the river is so cool but yet there is a hot spring along the shore that feeds into it.

Unfortunately Rapid Image Photos that run a monopoly on the Upper Colorado River no longer take photos at Jump Rock, only Wake up rapid. Also the BLM has not allowed any other company a permit to sell photos on the Upper Colorado, but they should because it used to be better and could be improved. MRGA AW
We do suggest that you book in advance, that way we can guarantee that you get on the river!
