Muddy Creek Cabins

We got stuck in Kremmling due to 40 being closed and a local was able to contact the owner and get us a cabin. These cabins are rustic but have everything you’d need. We were in cabin 1 which had a queen bed and two twin beds with a bathroom in between. Everything was very clean and although it was very cold outside, the cabin was really warm. The only downside was the bed was a bit uncomfortable and creaky, so we didn’t get great sleep. The staff was very friendly and accommodating of our travel being up in the air due to the roads. Dog friendly, so we’ll be back in the summer and being the dogs!

Awesome cabins, but I wouldn't say that they sleep 4. A queen bed and a pull out sofa is an awkward situation for 4 guys.

Excellent little cabin just off the main drag, backing to picturesque open space and within walking distance to The Dean West- also excellent. Usually, my family and I are disappointed with the cleanliness and privacy of most cabins, but Muddy Creek did not disappoint!! Incredibly clean and quiet, we woke up feeling refreshed and not on the verge of an allergy attack due to dust. No mold or mildew in the bathroom and the kitchenette was well appointed. They provided a coffee pot, so if you are particular about your morning brew bring your own coffee. Parking is right next to your cabin, so it is easy to unload/load your vehicle.

All in all not a great experience. We went on a family trip and purchased all but 3 of the cabins. Upon arriving we were immediately lectured by the worker about our dogs. Told they had to be on leash and they were. People in another cabin had their two dogs off leash the entire time. So I guess it’s ok for some people and not others. They called two more times and were very rude about signing in and our dogs. You would think with a purchase this large they would have made an attempt at civility. When they were called to bring TP to cabin it seemed like it was the biggest inconvenience to them. Half of the grills did not work and our room smelled terrible. Would not return to this location.
